ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING:

Hardware engineering is a set of activities that define the physical structure of an electrical schematic, and is generally the first phase of any project. It is a sophisticated architecture of modules and functions that must constantly update and dialogue in synergy with the Software development area.

These activities are carried out through the use of 'programmes', technically called Electrical CAD, software that can easily create electrical diagrams and store them in electronic format. For this reason, our technicians have been trained in the use of various CADs, such as EPLAN P8 or SPAC.

The skills that our technicians are able to guarantee go from:

  • Creation of the circuit diagram, complete with terminal block and cable processing sheets;
  • Power circuit dimensioning and thermal calculation;
  • Electrical cabinet layout design in both 2D and 3D.

SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

Software engineering encompasses those activities that are carried out in order to automate systems and processes that perform repetitive and complex actions, with the aim of reducing development time and costs of application implementation and maintenance.

The activities that are carried out more specifically by technicians are:

  • Robotic control software: programming of intelligent robots in a wide variety of fields, from movement management to human-machine interface;
  • PLC, HMI, reverse engineering and modernisation software development: we develop applications for most PLC platforms on the market;
  • Development of applications for vision systems: they guarantee speed and precision in production control by providing an approximate model of the real world (3D) from two-dimensional (2D) images;
  • Supervision and Monitoring Systems: systems capable of monitoring all machine activities: from production to safety and control of critical environments.

These activities are supported by different development platforms, i.e. environments capable of creating application software through configuration modules and graphic interfaces. Specifically, the most common ones used by our engineering team are:

  • Siemens S7;
  • Tia Portal;
  • Automation Studio B&R;
  • GE Proficy;
  • Codesys;
  • Cx_One.
