While maintaining the characteristic real wood feel, our lids are finely sanded and oiled with woodturning oil. A modern accent is set with the bevel running all around the top. The precisely fitting groove on the back ensures secure positioning of the lid when it is placed on the hopper.

The choice of wood types includes olive, walnut, oak and black-stained oak. Each type of wood has its own special characteristics: olive with a distinctive grain, walnut with a uniformly dark wood grain and the oak with a slight play of color depending on the viewing angle.

All wooden parts are without exception Made in Germany. The non-stained wood parts are oiled against moisture, whereby we place great emphasis on preserving the characteristic real wood feel. The black stained oak is coated with a protective varnish suitable for children's toys, which, in addition to protecting against moisture, provides an excellent look and feel.
