Huila is framed by the central and eastern ranges of the Andes which provides a great variation of climate. The coffee plantations have average temperatures between 22ºC and 29ºC and also benefit from the nitrogen-rich volcanic soil.
Specifically, this exceptional Colombia Salomon Huila specialty has all the aforementioned characteristics of the region, but also the very particular influences of the soil and microclimate that give a velvety and clean cup, with hints of citrus, fresh fruit, dried fruit and chocolate, and a lingering aftertaste with notes of brown sugar.
The production chain complies with the rules of organic farming and fair trade (Fairtrade).
