Vito Ferrari
At the end of the 1970s Vito Ferrari officially founded the company which takes the name of "Officina Meccanica Ferrari Vito". The design and production of fresh pasta machines for third parties begins, increasingly expanding the range to meet the different needs of small, artisanal shops and industrial realities.

AL.MA. SRL PACKING AND PACKAGING MACHINERY
When it becomes a company, in all respects
The production of fresh pasta machines joins the production of thermoforming packing machines.
AL.MA. becomes a leader in this field and a strategic partner of all the most famous and prestigious Italian and foreign pasta factories. The company is simultaneously dedicated to the design and construction of thermoforming packing machines for other food products.

Soon AL.MA. expands its business activity towards other fields, studying their peculiarities. At first, the Company dedicates to the design and construction of Automatic Blister Packing Machines for the medical sector and, later, for industrial products and consumer goods, using innovative technologies.

New business unit, new brand
With the creation of the new business unit, and consequently of the new brand, the promotion and direct sale on the market of pasta machines and related complementary equipment begins, both nationally and internationally. AL.MA. is now able to supply complete lines, starting from raw material, up to packaging of the finished product in modified atmosphere.
