Cia. Lilla was founded in 1918 by an Italian immigrant, Mr. Vitantonio Lilla.
Before that he owned a coffee roaster in downtown São Paulo.
The business was going well until, during World War I, he was no longer able to import spare parts for his European equipment.
So he started to manufacture what he needed on his own and then also to attend the needs of
your business colleagues.
The next step was the launch of the first 100% Brazilian roaster, which gave rise to a long
100-year history of pioneering spirit.
