Our entire Flexeserve Solution, which achieves true hot-holding, is held together by our industry-leading hot air recirculation technology.
We invented and patented the system of hot-holding found in Flexeserve Zone, Flexeserve Zone Rear Feed and Flexeserve Hub after years of research and product development.
Flexeserve products maintain the temperature of food through convection rather than relying on outdated contact heat. Hot air is continually circulated throughout the unit, creating a consistent and stable environment for your range of hot food.
This unique foodservice technology ensures that food does not continue to cook, unlike in heated units that use conduction. In Flexeserve hot-holding units, your food is instead held at the desired temperature, with ‘oven fresh’ quality maintained, for unparalleled hold times.
Air curtains
Energy efficiency is incredibly important to us, and part of our hot air recirculation technology is its ability to create hot air curtains. This is where the velocity of the hot air circulating within the unit prevents heat from escaping.
Every Flexeserve hot-holding unit creates heated air curtains, with Flexeserve Zone representing the best example. Flexeserve Zone is able to retain the hot air within itself, despite being an open-fronted display. This prevents heat loss at the front of the unit, making it tolerant to lower environmental store temperatures and negating the unit’s impact on ambient store conditions.
Zones
Along with industry-leading insulation, the air curtains also create ‘thermally discreet’ shelves or zones within the unit.
Below you can see how the thermal barriers within Flexeserve Zone enable the unit to maintain multiple different temperatures at the same time. This means that the zones can be configured to suit the specific requirements of each of your food products. These features are unique to Flexeserve Zone and cannot be facilitated by competing units.
